An Overseer appearing to The Bard.
An Overseer keeps watch over a certain region of the world, and are bound to that region. If an Overseer dies, their region falls into disorder.
Anyone can meet an Overseer provided they can play their Overseer Song at their Nexus Point, and make their way through their area of the Spirit World.
There are seven Overseers, and each one holds a piece of the Earthsong. However, once an Overseer gives away their part of the Earthsong, they lose the 'pure' part of their being, and begin to start decaying and dying, while also creating monsters.

Dream King[]
The Dream King is a large cat who oversees Langtree. To meet the Dream King for the first time you must play his overseer song at Langtree's nexus point. He lives with the Dream Fairy in the Dream Castle in the Dreamscape. To actually talk to the Dream King, you must climb the Dream Castle and ring the bell atop the tallest tower.
Queen of Winds[]
The Queen of Winds is a large teal bird who appears in act 2 and the intermission. She oversees Delphi and is visited by the bard when they sing the Queen of Wind's overseer song at Delphi's nexus point. She lives with the Wind Fairy in the Wind Castle. To enter the castle you must travel across the Windscape.
In the intermission, you fight the Queen of Winds in her monsterous form. After giving her piece of the Earthsong to the bard she started turning into that beast. She can by stunned with the Hero's lighting sword attack at any point in the fight. She can attack by dashing across the screen horizontally several times or swooping down on the Hero from above.
Queen Chaos[]
The large whale who oversees the oceans. She can be found in the Chaos Castle living with the Chaos Fairy. To see her the bard must traverse the Chaoscape. She is the first overseer the Hero kills before you can talk to. Because you never get to see her alive, all the Bard gets to see of the Chaos Queen is her monsterious form.
Queen Order[]
She is a tall humanoid who oversees Chismest. She lives with Order Fairy in the Order Castle. According to the Bard, she is the most normal overseer due to her humanoid appearence. She is only able to be visited once the smog in Chismest has cleared, which allows the Bard to enter the Orderscape.
Moon's Queen[]
The Moon Queen's appearence is unkown. By the time the Bard is able to see her, she has already begun turning into a monster. She is the overseer of Chaandesh, living with the Moon Fairy in the Moon Castle. Her castle resides in the Moonscape, which at the time the Bard arrives is inching closer to the Sun Castle at an alarming rate.
Sun's King[]
The Sun King is a large monsterous creature by the time the Bard arrives. He oversees Rulle and lives with the Sun Fairy in the Sun Castle. The Sun King lost his pure part by the time the Bard arrives and has imprisoned the Sun Fairy in a large cage.
King of Hearts[]
The King of Hearts is a large canine who oversees Ichor Mountain. He lives with the Heart Fairy in the Heart Castle which is found in a cave at the top of Ichor Mountain. It can be inferred that if the Spirit World hadn't collasped the Heart Castle would reside in a place called the Heartscape. The King of Hearts is a monster once the Bard and the Hero find him.
He frequently appears on the Bard's journey up Ichor Mountain appearing to be stalking them. He is responsible for trapping many birds in strange bubbles. At the top of the mountain he attempts to trap the Bard too, but ultimately ends up sending the Bard and the Hero plummeting into a cave.
New Overseers[]
During the credits, the previous Overseers' fairies are transformed into the new Overseers. Each one grows in size and receives a crown. They cannot be talked to and only appear in scene 55.
