Mask teaching The Bard a new dance
Dances are techniques learned from Mask, taught to The Bard in secret areas hinted at earlier by Mask. To dance, the player must hold down the alt or f key on their keyboard. The characters E, R, X, or C can be utilized to change what dance The Bard is doing. The Bard can sing and dance at the same time, and some dances can be done while moving.
After unlocking Scene Select, scenes with dances the Bard has yet to learn are highlighted with a Mask-shaped icon rather than a circular one.

Dance 1[]
The Bard starts off with the first dance.
Dance 2[]
The second dance is obtained in Langtree. Mask will inform The Bard that the ghosts in town has gotten them in a spooky mood, so they say they will go to the graveyard. The graveyard is found in the rightmost screen. After going past Ruby's house, the player should find a ledge that they can jump up on, and then two more after that. Once the player is on the top-most ledge, they should go left until they find Mask, who will be surrounded by the number of ghosts The Bard has sung away (up to three) along with three gravestones.
Dance 3[]
The third dance is obtained in Delphi. To learn it, you must go to Holmes Sweets. Help Jeb create a jingle, and Mask will walk in afterward.
Dance 4[]
In Act 3, when you are free to explore the ocean, go to the south-east portion of the sea. There is an island on the map that is covered by the Bard's right hand. Mask will be on this island.
Dance 5[]
In Chismest, you must find Mask on the rooftops, and he will tell you to meet him far outside of town after 7:00 AM. If you arrive before this time, he will appear in a flash of light.
Dance 6[]
Once you reach Rulle, you must exit the town and sing to the five butterflies on the map. Keep in mind that one of these butterflies is on the far side of Rulle, on the east. Be sure not to break song, or you'll have to start over. Bring all five butterflies to the mountain near Rulle. It should have a tree with a visible leaf. Bringing all five butterflies here will allow you to access this mountain, and Mask will be here.
Dance 7[]
After obtaining the three spells in Mohabumi, go to the potion shop where Miriam can be found, and head east two screens. Mask will be waiting.
Dance 8[]
Mask will tell you inside of the lodge on Ichor Mountain that he might climb up. To find him, go to where there are many trapped birds in one spot, and use them to fly up and to the left, and Mask will be on a screen to the west.
